  Abraham Samuel  
  Abraham Samuel is a senior professional engaged with natural resource management for the last 25 years. He has worked extensively as programme manager and researcher with various agencies, programmes and projects implemented in the country in various locations. He is well versed with policies and recent developments in research around land, water and rural livelihood systems. He was a senior fellow at SOPPECOM and was heading the watershed unit from 2006 to 2013. He headed various projects like detailed review of watershed work in Maharashtra, post-evaluation of Indo-German watershed development programmes, and project by the National Institute of Rural Development. Currently he is a consultant to SOPPECOM.  
  Shruti Vispute  
  Shruti Vispute was fully engaged with SOPPECOM from 2004 to 2010 and since continue to contribute as a Consultant Researcher to the work of the Forum for Policy Dialogue on Water Conflicts in India, which is hosted by SOPPECOM. She is currently a PhD Fellow at the University of Leeds, UK. She holds BA in Political Science from Fergusson College, Pune and MA in Environmental Politics from School of Politics, International Relations and Environment at University of Keele, UK and M. Phil. in Political Science from the University of Pune, Pune.

Her research interests are water conflicts in India, environmental activism especially around water issues, gender issues in water sector and development politics in the global South.
