| Harnessing Digitalisation for Water Governance: Key Insights from India
|

This policy brief outlines valuable insights from field research conducted in four Indian states (Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha, and Maharashtra), under the ‘SEWOH Lab’ project. It presents lessons and recommendations for policy makers and practitioners to strengthen inclusive water governance, with a focus on using digital tools, as well as the challenges which can hinder its effective and inclusive implementation.

| E-PAVAS: Supporting Water User’s Associations Through Digital Solutions
|
|
|
SOPPECOM collaborated with TMG, a Berlin-based Think Tank for Sustainability, to explore how digital solutions can support equitable and sustainable water governance. A customized digital application, E-PAVAS (ई-पावसं) was been developed to support WUAs to improve transparency and ensure integrated, equitable water distribution.

डिजिटल साधनाांच्या मदतीने समन्यायी आणि शाश्वत जल नियोजन आणि व्यवस्थापन कसे करता येईल, हे पाहण्यासाठी सोपेकॉम टीएमजी-थिंक टँक फॉर सस्नेटेबिलिटी (TMG Think Tank for Sustainability) या बर्लिन-स्थित संस्थेसोबत संशोधन केले. त्या अंतर्गत पाणी वापर संस्थथांना मदत करण्यासाठी, पारदर्शक्ता वाढवण्यासाठी व एकात्मिक आणि समन्यायी पाणी वाटप सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी ई-पावसं (E-PAVAS) या कस्टमाइज्ड डिजिटल अॅप्लिकेशनची निर्मिती केली.

| E-PAVAS: A Digital Decision Support Tool for Water User’s Associations

It also addresses the policy support needed for E-PAVAS to fulfill its potential and expand across Maharashtra.

हा धोरण मसुदा, पाणी वापर संस्थांना निर्णय घेण्यासाठी उपयुक्त साधन असेल. तसेच कार्यक्षमता, पारदर्शक्ता, उत्तरदायित्व आणि सहभाग यामध्ये सुधारणा व्हाव्यात, या उद्देशाने तयार केलेल्या ई-पावासं (E-PAVAS) या डिजिटल ॲपचा परिचय आपणाला करून देत आहे. हा मसुदा ई-पावासंला त्याच्या क्षमतेचा पूर्ण वापर करण्यासाठी आणि संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात विस्तार करण्यासाठी आवश्यक धोरण समर्थन देखील चर्चेला आणतो.
