This is a study of alternative practices in land and water use done across different states in India. The main aim of the study was to understand such practices that may have relevance in terms for the livelihoods of women and the rural poor with access to small plots of land and little water. The CD helps you browse through the different practices and also a discussion on the key principles in resource management.
