Apart from these the late K. R. Datye, expert of international fame in planning, design construction and management of irrigation projects, the late Vilasrao Salunke, founder member of Pani Panchayat which aims at equitable distribution of water resources on family basis, the late Bapusaheb Upadhye, the noted social activist and thinker and the inspiration behind the Samaj Parivartan Kendra (SPK) and the WUAs in Ozar; and the late Ramesh Borole of Saneguruji Shramaseva Kendra, Bhusawal, and the late B. S. Bhavanishankar of Sahayoga, Bangalore were also the members of SOPPECOM General Body.
